Grass in the wind, a sky in pink
On New Zealand’s North Island, dune grasses sway in the wind. Mirrored, their blades fold into lines and angles: a small geometry hidden in something as ordinary as grass. Behind them glows a soft pink sunset, photographed at Lake Tekapo on the South Island.
Grasshopper is a digital double exposure by Madlen Duderstedt. The mirrored grasses give it sharp structure in front, and the Tekapo sky adds soft light behind. The result feels dreamy and calm, and it quietly shows that nature keeps its own kind of order.
