Harmony Muted – Emerald Lakes Woven Art Throw

Inspired by Tongariro National Park, New Zealand

High on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, the Emerald Lakes glow in shades of green and turquoise, set against a landscape of red, black and rust-coloured volcanic rock. Steam rises, the air smells of sulphur, and you feel very small in a very old place. Harmony Muted carries that feeling into a soft, abstract design: calm, earthy tones woven into cotton. The artwork is a single photograph of an Emerald Lake, mirrored first vertically and then horizontally.

Made to be lived with

Wrap yourself in it on cooler evenings, drape it over a sofa or bed, or hang it on the wall as a large textile artwork. The woven surface gives the landscape a depth you want to touch.
