Two places, one golden hour
On New Zealand’s west coast, Raglan turns gold at sunset: surf rolling in, the whole shoreline glowing. Half a world away, Morskie Oko lies high in Poland’s Tatra Mountains, a glacial lake so still that the peaks appear twice.
Madlen Duderstedt layered both places in a digital double exposure and mirrored the result. What you see is a symmetry that nature only hints at: warm light from one side of the world, calm water from the other.
Made to be lived with
Wrap yourself in it on the couch, throw it over the bed, or hang it on the wall as a large textile artwork. The woven cotton brings out the sunset tones and gives the image a surface you want to touch.
