Poetry & Art | Collaboration with Leonardo da Silva

Leonardo Lopes da Silva is a writer, English and Portuguese teacher and trilingual translator based in Azeitão, Portugal.
Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Leonardo has been a poet since he was 16 years and he made his dream come true when he published his first book, A Língua do Pulsar, in 2015. It is going to be rereleased in 2025 in its English edition.
Leonardo has always been eager to transform his writing into music.
In 2023, after a lot of tinkering and flirting with electronic music he set out to create music for his poems and turn the final result into video clips / reels for Instagram, which is what he has been doing ever since.
Strongly influenced by rock, jazz, blues, world music, trance, and techno, he wishes to make every poem, song, and video a unique, memorable multimedia experience.

Madlen Duderstedt created the visual for Moon Gazing as a quiet reflection alongside Leonardo da Silva’s words – a meeting of light, language and longing.
